Five Fav Things Friday the 13th! (3.13.15)

[zephyr_dropcaps style="withbg" firstcolor="#333333" bgcolor=""]Happy Friday the 13th! Here are a few of my favorite things from this week. Enjoy![/zephyr_dropcaps] [zephyr_chapter number="1" title="" bgimg="" bgcolor="#40cec9"]Coincidently with Friday the 13th, I've rediscovered the Coast to Coast AM radio show. It's pretty much all things weird and unexplained. It's great if for nothing  other than for it's pure entertainment value and fascinating guests. Also love the hilarious calls from truck drivers. It's a gem. [/zephyr_chapter]

[zephyr_chapter number="2" title="" bgimg="" bgcolor="#40cec9"]This little cheery succulent is my reminder of the approaching green of  Spring. I love this time of year when it's so close. I can literally feel it in the air and there's such an optimistic energetic lift in the city.[/zephyr_chapter]

[zephyr_chapter number="3" title="" bgimg="" bgcolor="#40cec9"]John Zorn's Valentine's Day is my current favorite group to listen to. It consists of the best of the best of downtown musicians: Marc Ribot, Trevor Dunn, and Tyshawn Sorey. All the pieces are composed and conducted by Zorn. I got to see them live, ironically the day before Valentine's Day last month, and was FLOORED. So. Good. Rock meets Jazz meets Klezmer meets Surf music with some Heavy Metal thrown in.[/zephyr_chapter]ZVday

[zephyr_chapter number="4" title="" bgimg="" bgcolor="#40cec9"]Loving this post about using social media positively: "Using Social Media for Growth and Minimizing Its Negative Effects." This is ringing so true for me lately. Lots of good points. My favorite tip: "Unfollow people whose posts—for whatever reason at all—typically make your mood take a turn for the worst or cause you to lose focus on your own goals."[/zephyr_chapter]

[zephyr_chapter number="5" title="" bgimg="" bgcolor="#40cec9"]Last but not least, I took some time last weekend to take some selfies with some new friends...#GoatSelfies !!![/zephyr_chapter]
